ALL ABOUT CORK
MAY 23 - JUNE 22 2025
Market Gallery is delighted to present you with our current exhibition All About Cork: a celebration and a showcase of all things connected to our beloved county. We have always been proud to support local artists and much of the work on our walls, past and present, has depicted the surrounding landscape and given life to local themes. Artists draw their best inspiration from the world around them, and many of our visitors are most deeply touched when an artist brings the world they know to life. We all have a deep connection to place and to the spirit of our homeland. So, paying attention to what interests the growing community around our gallery, we have decided to host a celebration of our home county in the way that Market Gallery knows best: with an exhibition of the finest artists we have to offer.
The Rebel County has a special place in the hearts of both our artists and visitors. The open call for this exhibition was met with a warm and enthusiastic response, with high-quality submissions of all varieties. Our chosen selection includes depictions of place: iconic city locations, distinct urban landscapes, and rural scenes that are close to our hearts. This show features images that capture the spirit and personality of Cork, and we sincerely hope you enjoy the selection we have assembled for you.
