MORE ABOUT CORK
Last summer we launched our popular All About Cork exhibition, an exciting collection of artwork in proud celebration of all things Cork! This year we are happy to present our second installment, More About Cork - a celebratory exhibition featuring work from 20 artists.
Visitors will be met with familiar scenes; and many of us will have fond, shared memories of the places depicted throughout this exhibit. More About Cork is sprinkled with iconic sights, well-known landmarks, and a great many overlooked gems. Our selection includes images of the city, coast, and countryside as well as public figures like Terence MacSwiney and Tomás Mac Curtain.
Our featured artists explore the different shades and faces of Cork, presenting us with artworks that capture and embody the vibrant personality and enduring soul of our beloved county.
Exhibiting artists include: Abby Curran, Anna Groarke, Ann Franey, Catherine McSweeney, Denise Cronin, Edel Ryder-Hanrahan, Eileen Collins, Helen Condon, Joe Bowser, Kirsten Murray, Lainey Black, Laura Fitzharris, Maria O’Donoghue, Marie McInerney, Norma Healy, Rick McGroarty, Tetiana Milshyna, Ursula Walsh, Valerie Murphy, Yvonne O’Dwyer.
